Iowa City Police Department will be hosting the 2010 MATAI conference to be held at the
Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville, Iowa.
Coralville is immediately adjacent to Iowa City with both communities and the surrounding area offering plenty of activities when the conference is not in session.
Our conference host and his support staff have finalized the details for what promises to be an outstanding training and networking opportunity.

CONFERENCE FEE
The conference fee for MATAI Members is $275.00 and $325.00 for Non-Members.
Conference fees increase to $325.00 for Members and $375.00 for Non-Members on April 29.
You must be an active MATAI member with dues paid for the 2009-2010 membership year at least 90 days before the conference start, or February 26, to be eligible for the member rate. If in doubt, check the Membership List or contact the Secretary/Treasurer.

LODGING
Government room rates have been negotiated for you and your guests from Monday May 24th through Thursday, May 28th for $70.00 per night– Single/Double/Triple/Quad occupancy. Parking is $5.00 / day.
The deadline for room reservations at $70/night + $5/day parking is April 28! On April 29, the rate more than doubles.

ACTAR CEUs
The 2010 Conference is eligible for 18 CEUs.
ACTAR EXAMINATION
The deadline for registering for the ACTAR Examination is April 25. Earlier deadlines apply for those making their initial ACTAR application. New applications must be submitted at least 60 days in advance of the examination date, or March 25, to allow ample time to be qualified to sit for the examination. Please consult the
ACTAR web site for more information.
